Build Her Tomorrow, Today

A young mother arrives with a baby in her arms and nowhere safe to go. What happens next depends on people like you.

Your support carries her through R.I.S.E., our twelve month programme. It begins with safety and ends with independence, and along the way she gets the ordinary things that make that possible. Food, a bed, someone to talk to, a door that locks, and the time to build a bond with her baby that will shape his whole life.

Regular giving is what lets us say yes

When a call comes about a young mother who needs help, our answer depends on what we can count on. A one off gift helps us this month. Sponsorship lets us plan for next year, and it is the reason we can open the door when someone arrives with nowhere else to go.

Each mama stays with us for twelve months. She arrives needing to feel safe and she leaves able to stand on her own. Sponsorship is what funds that year, for whichever young mother needs it next.

Sponsorship is not a large amount of money. It is a reliable one, and reliable is what changes what we can promise a young mother when she asks.

Give What You Can
Any amount, monthly

Every regular gift counts, whatever the size. Smaller amounts add up and give us something we can count on.

Not ready for a monthly commitment? A one off donation still matters, and we are small enough to notice every one of them. You can send one by bank transfer using the details at the bottom of this page.

OUR MAJOR FUNDRAISER

Buy a Brick. Build a Sanctuary.

Right now, a young mother referred to us from the Maasai Mara travels five or six hours to reach our door. We are building a village so she doesn’t have to.

The land is already ours. It was given to us by the Goshar Mepa Maroo Legacy, a family whose grandfather moved to Kenya in 1913 in search of a better life. What we need now is the village itself. Traditional Maasai homes, built the local way, which means every dollar goes further than it would in Nakuru.

Every brick is a real brick. Buy one and your name goes on our Wall of Kindness, where it stays for as long as the village does.

1 Brick
A$25

Leave your mark on our Wall of Kindness and be part of building hope, one brick at a time.

10 Bricks
A$250

Your name is engraved on the Wall of Kindness in Kenya, and you receive a personalised thank you from the One Tribe Mamas.

Every Brick Counts
Custom Amount

Build your impact your way. Whether it is one brick or one hundred, every contribution helps us get the village built.

Not sure how many? Any amount buys as many bricks as it buys, and every one of them ends up in the wall.
